Pulau Moyo
About the Destination
Pulau Moyo is the crown of Teluk Saleh — a lush island north of Sumbawa that became the Taman Nasional Moyo Satonda in 2022, part of the Saleh-Moyo-Tambora (Samota) biosphere reserve. Trek jungle trails to Mata Jitu, a majestic tiered waterfall pouring into seven turquoise pools, nicknamed the Queen Waterfall after Princess Diana bathed here in 1993. Relax on secluded beaches, snorkel living reefs, and look out for monkeys and wild boar along the way.
